I was listening to music from home today, and I listened to "Closed for the Season" over and over again and cried. There is something missing in Nashville that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and that is it. There is no inclement weather, no closing, no rearranging of life for the seasons. No pressure. Life just goes on, and the next thing you know I'm talking to people who have been here for fifteen years and still not done a damn thing.
I lost the CD, but it's on my list of things to do to buy another one.
I miss the ocean, and I think of you often, it was always a treat to hear you at the Maine Songwriters.

I have heard rumblings of an Uncle Billy's BBQ re-opening. Word around the campfire is Congress St. Portland somewhere near Joe's Smoke Shop. Is it possible that yourself, Jay and others may be back in action on Thursday nights? I have also heard rumor of a Gary Shackleford visit someime this winter. See you at Chicky's on the 30th.
